The lettering here was frustrating. Not because of the lettering but because of Font issues. I use Adobe Illustrator to letter, but for some reason, the Bold version of the font stopped working.
I tried installing and reinstalling the font but still had the same issue. To work around I added a 2 point stroke around the font to get the needed bold look for the emphasized dialogue.
The next issue was image resolution. I first designed my lettering templates for Webtoon. Webtoon has file size constraints so I would have to break my pages up into smaller portions and upload them separately. The file sizes were also very large. I started using Elemenor to create the web graphic novel and have a lot more control of the layout and composition.
I optimized the images for export in Adobe Illustrator, to 72 ppi. Now, each page is its own image file size is and much smaller but still has clarity. They seem to load faster!
I also updated the lettering template. If you want to use or need my lettering templates, drop me a DM and I will share the document with you.
